Las uvas seleccionadas se vinifican a temperatura controlada en cubas combinadas de acero y madera Horizon con maceración media (7-10 días). Tras un periodo de envejecimiento de 10-12 meses, en parte en barricas y en parte en grandes barriles de roble, se procede a su posterior afinamiento en botella durante un mínimo de 6 meses.
Un gran clásico del territorio de Montalcino y de Banfi. Aúna la elegancia y la solidez típicas de su hermano más noble, el Brunello, con una inmediatez y una frescura que lo convierten en un vino versátil como pocos. Agradable desde un principio, tolera a la perfección un largo periodo de envejecimiento.

A wine characterized by a great aromatic freshness both in the aromas and in the mouth. On the nose, hints of liquorice and plum jam meet a hint of vanilla on the finish. In the mouth it is well balanced and structured. Excellent and very persistent finish on the palate.
