Ristorante Banfi held its official grand opening for friends, neighbors and press in April. The seven course meal was prepared by Ristorante Banfi Chef Guido Haverkock and Michelin two-star Chef Heinz Beck of the prestigious La Pergola roof garden restaurant in Rome's Cavalieri Hilton Hotel. The chefs created the regular (yet seasonal) menus for Castello Banfi's Ristorante and Taverna incorporating classic Tuscan fare with Mediterranean influences.
Ristorante Banfi offers four tasting menu options: three courses with wines for 60.00 Euro (approx. $52), three courses without wines for 45 Euro (approx. $39), five courses with wines for 85.00 Euro (approx. $74), and fives courses without wines for 60.00 Euro (approx. $53). The Ristorante open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and reservations are required.
The more casual Taverna Banfi is open for lunch between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and reservations are strongly recommended. To make reservations at either of these restaurants, call (+39) 0577 816 001 or e-mail ristorante@banfi.it
