Sunday, May 30th – Castello Banfi is glad to welcome all wine lovers to the yearly "Wine Day", proclaimed by the National Association of Wine Tourism with ongoing tours of the Glass Museum and Winery (Opening time from 10 AM to 6 PM).
The Guided Tours of the Winery, available in Italian or English, will start at 11 AM - 12 PM - 4 PM and 5 PM - with departure from the Meeting Point at the ENOTECA/Wine Bar of Castello Banfi (Castello di Poggio alle Mura, 15 km south of Montalcino). Please be kindly advised that, for individuals, reservation is not required, they could check in directly at the Enoteca. Reservation is mandatory only for groups.The winery tour lasts approximately 1 hour and it is free of charge. The winery is located 5 Km driving from the Castle (transportation is not provided).
Afterwards at the ENOTECA our team will be glad to offer you a selection of Tuscan wines (Centine Rosso, Centine Bianco and Centine Rosè) in addition to bread sticks and Parmesan cheese. Additional wine tastings are available by the glass against payment.
For those who want to make the best of their Tuscan Experience at Castello Banfi, it is possible to make reservations for lunch or dinner at the "TAVERNA” with 3, 4 or 5-course Tuscan tasting Menu, respectively at 52.00 – 65.00 – 70.00 Euros per person (wines, mineral water, coffee and grappa included).
