  • 季節性成果 The growing cycle began in the usual time frame, with dry weather in April and May. June was marked by cooler temperatures and a lack of rainfall. Summer saw a return to regular average temperatures in July through mid-August, when a sudden heat wave raised temperatures over 40°C (104°F) through the end of the month. A sun-drenched September, with normal average temperatures, allowed for a good harvest.
品鉴

The color is a full, deep garnet-colored red. The aroma is complex and rich of balsamic scents, but also of jam, tobacco and chocolate flavors. The structure is pronounced, due to the temperature rising up by the second half of August, and is supported by both sweet and discrete tannins that give dimension and length to the wine. Perfumes in the mouth are persistent and well balanced. The wine is perfectly enjoyable from now and also shows a great attitude to the medium-long aging.

  • 季節性成果 Wine’s growth cycle started at the right time with particularly mild and dry weather in April and May. Sunny days in June were then followed by copious rainfall in mid-July, accompanied by a significant drop in temperature. August was fairly cool, but the region was then covered by an anti-cyclone weather pattern originating from Africa, which led to a spike in temperatures, reaching well above the average for the period and lasting for around two weeks, putting the vines under hydric stress and accelerating the ripening. September and October were sunny and dry with very hot temperatures.

  • 季節性成果 The start of the growing season was slightly delayed, with abundant spring rainfall and temperatures in May and June well below the seasonal average. The weather was warm and dry from mid-June through August, when temperatures dropped again. Cool nights encouraged the development of aromatics and the synthesis of polyphenols in the grapes, enhancing the overall quality of the bouquet and the wine’s acidity. Scarce rainfall allowed for ideal harvest conditions.
品鉴

Deep red mauve color. The bouquet is complex and recalls both varietal notes of plum jam and blackberry and notes of licorice, vanilla and a hint of leather. Wine of excellent structure, soft, well sized and balanced. The finish is very long.

  • 季節性成果 The spring start of the growth cycle was marked with significant rainfall, which provided abundant water reserves. The rainy phase continued through July, with particularly cool temperatures well below seasonal averages. After mid July, the weather turned warm and dry, allowing the vines to benefit from the water reserves. Relatively cool night temperatures allowed for the development of aromatics and the synthesis of polyphenols, enhancing the overall quality of the grapes. Harvest took place under tranquil conditions, with sunny, dry and warm weather in September and October.

Deep red color with ruby nuances. The bouquet is round, with hints of violet, licorice and a very delicate leather note. In the mouth is incredibly generous, silky, enveloping and very warm. Persistent in the aftertaste

  • 季節性成果 The winter, with levels of precipitation above the seasonal average and quite mild temperatures, was followed by normal spring conditions in terms of both rainfall and temperature. Some rainfall marked the months of May and June, along with relatively cool temperatures through mid July. The hail storm which took place on Ferragosto (August 15th) only partially effected our vineyards, sparing the choicest fruit and impacting production with only a small decrease in quantity. Compared to recent years, all phases of the growing season were delayed, including the harvest which took place two weeks late but under optimal conditions

Intense red color with ruby hint. The aromas are incredibly heterogeneous, with a truffle note coming out at first, followed by flavors of licorice, tobacco and plum jam. Potent and huge body, with a superior acidity that supports this lively and persistent wine.  Exceptional potential for medium to long term aging.

  • 季節性成果 Thanks to a mild winter, the growing season started early, with anticipated flowering. Heavy rainfall in late May and early June provided sufficient water reserves in the soil to endure the mid-June heat wave. The harvest started about one week ahead of time yet still lasted into mid October without any difficulties, thanks to ideal fall weather.

Deep red color with ruby hint. The aromatic profile is very complex, with an initial note of truffle, and then opens to a bouquet of licorice, tobacco and plum jam. Powerful and big structure, with a good acidity that supports this vibrant and persistent wine.  Outstanding prospective for moderate to long term aging.

  • 季節性成果 During the summer months the vines did not suffer any hydric stress thanks to the proper rainfalls in the spring. The high temperatures in July yielded for an extraordinary maturation. Then in August a right temperature range between day and night permitted a good harvest.

  • 季節性成果 The seasonal conditions were marked by a severe spring frost and by one of the most severe heat waves in European history that greatly anticipated the start of the annual harvest. Fortunately, the heavy rainfall of the previous winter allowed for abundant water reserves in the soil, thus avoiding the risk of hydric stress for the plants. The spring frost, combined with the hot summer, allowed for a rich and concentrated fruit, even if greatly reduced in quantity. Most importantly, normal patterns of significant variations between daytime and night temperatures returned, adding finesse and complexity to this very good vintage. The exceptionally healthy berries of this vintage allow for an optimal quality harvesting.

An intense deep garnet red color. The perfumes are soft, with the characteristic notes of plum and cherry and a hint of leather. The tannins are gentle with a well-balanced structure. Drinkable since now it is good  for a long-medium maturation.

  • 季節性成果 A warm and dry start to the season yielded to heavy rains in August and September, delaying normal development. Fortunately, the early harvest of the Chardonnay was completed as the rains began to fall, minimizing any negative impact. Generous spacing between rows of vines also played a positive role, allowing for optimal airflow and avoiding risk of mold.

  • 季節性成果 The seasonal conditions were marked by a severe early frost on Easter Eve that reduced the production. Subsequently, sufficient rainfall at the end of June allowed for an optimal balance of water reserves in the soil. The temperature climbed gradually from mid July but without reaching any excessively high peak. Some rainfall in September permitted to Sangiovese to reach a good technological and physiological maturation.

A deep ruby red color. The aroma is soft and fruity with notes of tobacco, coffee, licorice, vanilla, small berries and jam. In the palate the tannins are sweet and mature with a long round  finish.  Good potential for a long maturation, with indications that it will yield even more character with time.

Pleasantly characterized by notes of a lingering youth, both in the color and aromas.  A full, deep and red color.  The aromas still have floral notes of violets and plum flowers, accompanied by the essence of spices and tobacco.  The body has good structure, with a density and balance despite its young age.  Clean and dry finish.  Fresh and young, with indications that it will yield even more character with time.
